About St. John Ambulance Fund Development
St. John Ambulance has been a presence in Alberta since 1897. Over time, the demand for St. John Ambulance first aid programs and community services has increased steadily; the Alberta Council currently issues over 130,000 certificates and performs over 25,000 hours of volunteer services every year. Community Services hours equate to > $15 million in economic value to Alberta, $5.6 million of which benefit Calgary and the surrounding region. St. John Ambulance could not have achieved this success without the outstanding support and efforts of its volunteers, concerned community members, and community minded businesses.
